Last month while I attended a Gundam Model Kit competition, I came across a really cute box in one of the toy stores at the mall where the competition was held. The yellow box immediately caught my attention, and I just had to stop and took quite some time to decide if I should buy it or not. Finally I thought I should just ask for it as a gift in our office Kris Kringle.

At first I kind of regret that I didn't buy that, but after a month, during our Kris Kringle final revelation, I was so happy that my "Daddy" gave me what I've been drooling over for the past couple of weeks! Finally, Pikachu is mine!

What I like about this is that you actually have to assemble the parts for Pika to come to life. Of course I had to use my noob gunpla tools and sand a couple of parts to make Pika look smooth and really clean. Initially, I planned on adding a clear, flat topcoat but it was raining that night and some really good gunpla teachers told me that painting during the rain, cold, and at night would produce bad results. And so I left Pika as is.

I'm really happy with how Pika turned out to be. Cute, yellow, and happy. :) Here are a few pictures:

Gundams: Exia, Enact, Wing Zero

I haven't posted in a while, and I think I kind of forgot to post this. Last month I attempted to have a photoshoot with a few of my Gundams and I must admit, I really am a newbie. I think I took around 300+ shots, but the good ones are only down to around 20. Haha, such a waste of space! Anyway, here are some shots that I felt passed my standards. I did some post-processing using Adobe Photoshop CS4 Portable version.

Please feeel free to comment and make suggestions. =)

EXIA: The Emo Gundam manned by the super EMO pilot, Setsuna F. Seiei.
I did some painting on this 1/60 No Grade baby, and it has been a while since I finished this so it has really become a dustbin. This is my second paint job, and I must say I made A LOT of errors still. I did learn something along the way, and maybe my next build will be much better.

AEU Enact Ali Al-Saachez Custom
This is actually Marc's kit. He snap-built it a few months back, and I now just had the time to have its photos taken. I love its slim, sexy built that almost has the same feel as the Eva's (Evangelions).

Hold your head up high, inhale some courage, and start the show.
This is one of my favorite shots, if only the nubmarks didn't show haha! This kit is also Marc's, I gave it to him as a present last year for his birthday. Gundam Wing is the only series he knows (Now, I convinced him to watch Seed/Seed Destiny and 00 hehe), and he already has a Deathscythe kit so I thought this is the next best thing. Snap built, no modifications and no panel lines.

The Dreamer: Wing Zero Custom Metal Plate version
Another shot of the Wing kit. Again, pardon the nubmarks. :)

BFF's: Sometimes, all you need is a best friend to get you through the shits in life.
My favorite shot of the bunch! Wing Zero and Enact side by side, ready to rumble and kick some serious arse.

Geek Trivia: Google's Barrel Roll

If you haven't tried it yet, now's your chance. Better late than never.

Recently, there has been a trend about Google doing a barrel roll. What is this, you ask? Well, if you try and search for "do a barrel roll" in Google, you just might be surprised with what's in store for you. =)

While you're at it, try searching for "Askew" and "Tilt" as well.

Amazing, huh?

Only works on Firefox, Chrome, Opera. Doesn't work on mobile browsers, and definitely doesn't work on Internet Explorer.

How dare you do this to Chuck Norris!?

Chuck Norris has always been a legend -- the man who can never and will never go down. The only man who went to space and back, who steps on the earth and actually pushes it downward. He is quite famous for his roundhouse kick, and the fact that you cannot destroy him -- he destroys you.

So who the f*ck is this idiot who dared to do this to him!?

Geek Trivia: Google Spam

Have you ever checked out that little SPAM link that Google has on your GMAIL account? Well, I don't... until I discovered this really neat feature! Hahaha. At first I thought it was weird, and the first thing that entered my mind was that I was really reading spam mail. But I changed my mind when I saw a pattern. LOL. These Google guys are amazing! Check these out:

What are those, you ask? Those are actual recipes of dishes with Spam. Hahaha. One of these days, I might compile them and have a Spam cookfest at home. Cool, huh?

UPDATES: Jaccobb's Corner

And again, another The Reincarnation Stack Calculator update from the ultra-mega-hunky Jaccobb!

P.S. I recently tried loading the page using Chrome, and indeed, some portion of the ads is covering the last column of the Stack calculator. (Thank you, Zedrix, for pointing this out). Aesthetically it doesn't look nice but it still works. Until I can find a fix for this, please ignore the ugly ads on the right. =(

Geek Toys: Geek Notes

So I was browsing the web for cool notepads (canvassing materials for souvenirs, blah blah). Well anyway, I found some really cute stuff that made me go "Kyaaaah"! I want one of these! I know I already have tons of notes on my desk, but these are uber cute and geeky and sooo me. Haha! What do you think?

I don't have an iPhone / iPod so I guess having one of these will give them the impression that I do. So cute. =P

HAHAHA. I loooove this! The hairy becomes the baldy! So cheeky!

This is dual purpose. For writing notes. and for Face Palm.

And finally my favorite!! Vintage stuff (haha, not so long ago, I was using one of these). Diskettes!

Geek Trivia: Chuck Norris

We all know Chuck Norris. I mean who doesn't? If there were really someone who doesn't know who this guy is, they'd probably be dead -- after dear old Chuck gave them a good roundhouse kick.

And, we're all afraid of Chuck Norris. Who isn't? He doesn't sleep, he waits. Behind his beard is just another fist. And he's the only one who counted to infinity -- twice. But who would have known that our favorite Google is also afraid of the man!

Here's how we knew:

- Type: "Find Chuck Norris"
- Click I'm Feeling Lucky

You'll be surprised. =)

Geek Trivia: Google Versions (2)

Three years ago, I posted some hidden versions of Google developed by Google fans around the world. I haven't been experimenting for quite a while, but recently someone has tipped me that there are more versions of Google available! Well what do you know, there really are!

Google PIRATE: Type "Google Pirate" and press "I'm Feeling Lucky!"

Google NAZI: Type "Google Nazi" and press "I'm Feeling Lucky!"

Google MAGIC: Type "Google Magic" and press "I'm Feeling Lucky!" Search for something by typing on the text box, and when you click any of those buttons, the OO's will magically disappear.

Geek Trivia: YouTube Hidden Snake Game

Did you know?

Everyone's favorite video site has a hidden snake game embedded in its flash player? To access the game, here are the simple steps:
  • Load any video from YouTube
  • Pause the video
  • Press UP and LEFT Arrow Keys at the same time for a few seconds until you see gray dots
  • Play the Snake game by using arrow keys
Click thumbnail to see full image

I had difficulty accessing this game at first, but later I learned that you really need to press the Arrow keys simultaneously for the dots to appear.

Geek Trivia: Google Pacman

Do you remember when Pacman reigned the gaming industry supreme? Well, Google pays tribute to this supremacy by adding the very game we loved to play and hosting it on their servers. They also added a teensy-bitsy secret to it. Wanna know? Here's how:

  1. To access the game, go to
  2. Click the Insert Coin button once for the game to start
  3. Click Insert Coin button again for a special guest!
To control Pac-man, use the arrow keys. and to control the special guest, use these keys: WASD. The surprise guest is quite special. She'll take care of those nasty pests. =)
